JJ is a versatile musical theatre performer with strong acting and singing skills and also a budding singer/songwriter in the pop/rock genre. Having grown up in Berlin, New Jersey to a musical family JJ cut his teeth in Musicals starring in many productions in his community before deciding that a life on stage was the right choice. He applied early admission to New York University for the musical theatre programme and was accepted. This proved to be the right decision as he flourished in the creative environment honing the skills he naturally had and learning new ones in the attempt to become a complete performer. Attending school in Manhattan was difficult and trying but also very rewarding. Although he had to work two jobs to fund his school and fledgling career he was also granted the opportunity to work with and sing to some of the biggest names in Musical theatre meeting people like Kander and Ebb and a certain Mr Sondheim. Various apprenticeships and internships allowed him to further integrate himself into the New York theatre community setting up a bright future.

Now a mature and seasoned performer with a wealth of performance and life experience JJ has become the performer he has trained to be. His repertoire is ever expanding and with his experience as a singer/songwriter and musical theatre performance he is prepared and open for all the challenges the industry can throw at him.
